Our Mission
RP Camp Consulting offers guidance to camps of all types and sizes. As a seasoned camp veteran with over 35 years of experience in camp ministry, Randy Pim understands the unique and sometimes difficult challenges faced by camp leadership. Combining decades of experience with a personalized approach, Randy is committed to evaluating each camp's specific needs, and assisting to implement strategies that will enhance your operations.




Who We Are
Randy and his wife, Nancy, began Christian Camp ministry in 1989 at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly in Illinois where they served as the Camp Manager and Office Manager respectively, for the first 16 years of their Christian Camping career. In 2005, the Pims accepted positions as the Executive Director and Office Manager respectively, of Camp Allendale in Indiana, where they served until retiring in the Fall of 2024.
Randy is a past member of the Christian Camp Leaders (CCL) advisory board. He has taught several workshops at the annual conference, where he led the New Workers Workshop for over 20 years. The Pims were awarded the Matthews/Wade Award in 2012 for their contributions to Christian Camping. The happily married couple of 47 years reside in Fairland, Indiana. Currently their days are spent pouring into their eleven precious grandchildren, camping, fishing, gardening, and volunteering.

Assist with defining board and staff roles to promote an effective decision-making process and efficient daily camp operations
NEW CAMP LEADER TRAINING
Provide intensive training for new camp leaders, focusing on key areas of camp management
STAFF MENTORING
Walk along side camp leaders by providing professional mentoring, prayer support and encouragement in order to empower them with tools and support to excel
FINANCIAL SYSTEMS
Provide expertise that will improve budget development and forecasting, cost/fee structure and overall fiscal management
LEADERSHIP SUCCESSION PLANNING
Assist camp board and exiting leadership in creating a succession plan with a goal of providing for a smooth transition for both exiting and new leader
POLICY MANUAL REVIEW/CREATION
Review existing policy manuals and documents; assistance in revisions and creation of new manuals or policies
The first step in partnering with RPCC is an initial needs assessment. During an on-site visit, we’ll discuss your camp’s needs and desired outcomes with staff and board members. Fees for this service will include mileage, housing, meals, and assessment preparation. Afterward, we'll provide a First Impressions Report and a written proposal for recommended services.
